How You Can Help

We need your help in our rescue efforts! If you want to make a real difference in a Sheltie's life, please consider the following options.

Direct Contributions

Our adoption fees do not adequately cover all of the costs we incur, especially when we receive a special needs Sheltie. Donations are deeply appreciated and always welcome! If you can be a "guardian angel" to a Sheltie in need, please mail your tax deductible donation to:

Colorado Sheltie Rescue

or you can safely make a donation through PayPal:

Donate a Bed

We have chosen Kuranda dog beds for our rescue facilities because they are so good for our dogs. We still don't have enough for all of our rescued dogs. If you would like to donate a bed so another dog can sleep in proper comfort, please click here

Would you like to buy a Kuranda Dog Bed for your pet? Click here to purchase one, and a portion of your purchase will be donated to our rescue group.

We would like to thank the Pedigree Foundation and the CenturyLink Clarke M. Williams Foundation for their support of our rescue efforts.

About Our Costs

Some of the dogs we receive have been seriously neglected and/or mistreated. Several have needed extensive surgery to save their lives and restore them to good health.

Each Sheltie we place has been spayed or neutered. Not all of them come to us that way, however. Approximately 70% of them require this surgery when they arrive at rescue. About half of our Shelties need dental work as well, and we always make sure that they receive such care before they are placed. Others need medication to regain and maintain their health.
